The Process of Becoming a Snip-its Franchisee
The
following list is intended to provide you with an overview of the steps
you need to take in order to become a franchisee with Snip-its. Please
review this site carefully. Becoming a franchisee is a financial
investment and a personal commitment that requires serious
consideration. At Snip-its, we are committed to offering you our full
support as you explore this opportunity. Throughout the application
process and into store development, from your grand opening to every
day thereafter, we will work closely with you to help build your
business and achieve your goals.
- Review franchisee requirements and the information on this website, then complete and submit the full Snip-its franchising application.
- Upon
preliminary review of your application and if you meet the financial
requirements, you will be contacted by a Snip-its sales associate. A
phone interview provides a good opportunity for us to get to know each
other and lay out the timeline and application process we will be
dealing with.
- Upon satisfactory completion of the phone
interview, you will be given a Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) that
contains comprehensive and valuable information for franchise
candidates. You will be asked to sign an acknowledgement of receipt
that must be returned to your sales associate before you may proceed to
the next step.
- Review the FDD (it is recommended that
you obtain legal and financial advice), and then schedule a Personal
Meeting in your area. Your sales representative will schedule a
personal meeting in your area and personally introduce you to the Snip
Its franchise opportunity. In addition to learning about training,
marketing, and ongoing support this is an excellent time for you to
answer any outstanding questions you may have.
- After
the Personal Meeting, our corporate staff will review your application
and your interview notes to determine whether or not there is a good
fit between you and Snip-its. You will be notified via email if you
have been approved.
- A credit and background check will be completed and you will be notified of the results.
- Once
you have officially been approved, you may want to contact existing
franchisees to discuss their franchise experience and to ask any
additional questions you may have. We will direct you to franchisees
that may have similar experiences or situations to provide the most
value for your time, but you may contact any franchisee. You will find
a list of franchisee names in the FDD.
- Throughout the
process, your sales associate will discuss with you real estate
opportunities and available territories in the marketplace. If you
choose to sign an Area Development Agreement (ADA), you will need to
lay out your territory and store opening schedule for inclusion in your
Execution Documents.
- Once you have made the decision to
move forward and become a Snip-its franchisee, you will receive
Execution Documents for signature. With your signed documents and
franchisee fee, you are officially part of the Snip-its family -
Welcome!
