WHAT IS ONLINE CHECK-IN?

This is not an appointment. There may be a wait when you arrive. It is the quickest way to be next for your Haircut Adventure!

Save time, wait less!

Online check-in lets you add your kids’ names to the list at your local Snip-its salon. After you’ve checked in online, you’ll know what your estimated wait is so you can make the best use of your time before heading in for your kiddos’ Haircut Adventures. Once your family arrives at the salon, chances are you’ll be near the top of the list.

How do I use online check-in?

Add your name to the list from anywhere! Check-in by going to your Snip-its website locations page or Facebook page and clicking on the check-in.  If you have not checked in online before, you will first need to sign up by creating an account.  Just complete the following steps:

  1. Click on Sign Up Here.
  2. Enter your first name, last name, and cell phone number (the number that will be on your account at the salon), email, and password.  Then click on the check-in button.
  3. Add your kids to your account by clicking on the blue box with the white plus sign.  Enter each child’s information including first name, last name, date of birth and gender.
  4. Click the box by each name getting a haircut, then click check-in.
  5. Click finish and come on in! Your estimated wait time will then be displayed.  Walk-in clients are also able to check-in on a tablet at the reception desk and join the list then. In the salon you can see the full list of people checked in.

Can I make an appointment?

Snip-its is a walk-in kids’ salon and we know kid-wrangling sometimes takes longer than expected. When you’re ready, so are we—you don’t need to schedule your child’s Haircut Adventure in advance. Online check-in will help you add your kids’ names to the list when you and your tiny tots are ready, before heading into the salon.

When can I check-in online?

You can check-in online 15 minutes after the salon opens—to accommodate any customers who may be waiting at the salon in person when we open—and up to 45 minutes before the salon closes. You can still walk-in for the last 45 minutes of business hours each day and add your name to the list, you just can’t use the online check-in feature during that time.  If you have checked-in online, you must be in the salon before the closing time posted on the door to be seen that day.

When should we get to the salon and what if we’re running behind?

Heading into the salon soon after you use the online check-in is a good idea. If you aren’t in the salon when your name is called, we will take the next available person.  Kids happen, we know that! It’s not an appointment, so don’t worry if the herding and collecting is taking a little longer than you anticipated. We’ll keep your name on the list for a short period of time.

Do I need to do anything when we arrive?

Yes. Be sure to let the stylists know when you arrive at the salon so they know you are there, can confirm your information and finish your family’s check-in.
